We thrive in creating environments where participants feel  welcomed.  OC Lacrosse is where you learn how to play the game of lacrosse with others who learned how to play lacrosse here as well, often times from coaches who learned to play with us.  We know what it feels like to start a new sport with new people and how intimidating this can feel.  On the field, we pass the ball to new players and encourage learning through experience. More important than learning the game of lacrosse is making friends and  becoming part of the OC Lacrosse family.  We know we have succeeded when  players have fun, return for future seasons, and attract new youth lacrosse participants to join the next season.  

Lacrosse is a team sport and it takes a team to be successful, so we cultivate a TEAM first atmosphere. 

Teams  are made up of individual players. Each player needs fundamentals and confidence to perform to their potential and overcome challenges, so we cultivate the fundamentals of the game and building a positive mindset so that each players can be their personal best.

Players work their hardest, for themselves and each other, and learn the most when having fun, so we cultivate FUN.  

We  love the game of lacrosse!  We love the beauty of the game itself and everything that can be learned from it, like overcoming adversity,  working as a team, thinking ahead, competing to be the best version of ourselves, etc.  

We love the lacrosse community and everything  the game has provided for us, like life long friends, family, careers, outlets through tough times, collegiate opportunities, etc.  

We  also believe in love as a critical element to a healthy society.  We  inspire participants to love the game and all of society.  We are our best when others are their best.   

OC Lacrosse is grateful to USA Lacrosse for all that they are doing.  We have been fortunate to have received a "First Stick" grant, twice, which provides sticks and equipment for clinics to help grow youth lacrosse.  We are also excited for USA Lacrosse to finally offer a registration site that allows participants to register in one place and eases the flow of the registration process.  We hope that leagues and tournaments will also join the USA Lacrosse registration system to ease the waiver process as well.  Additionally, USA Lacrosse offers so many great tools on their website, www.usalacrosse.com
